"English is not my first language? How do I check if my English is good enough?"

Most colleges and universities ask for evidence of your language skills. One of the following qualifications would be suitable for this.

IELTS (International English Language Testing System) usually at Band 6 or above overall. IELTS produces specimen tests in writing, reading and listening.
Cambridge ESOL Certificate of Proficiency in English at Grade C or above.
GCSE English Language or English Literature Grade C or above.
