"What does the course cost in real terms?"

That's a good question.

Apart from course fees and the cost of books and other study materials, you need to think about travel, child care, accommodation and other day-to-day costs. Depending on what you are studying, you may need to travel to a work placement or buy some specialist equipment like tools or a computer. If you are using a computer, you need to think about the cost of internet access and of computing consumables like print cartridges.

Have a look at our section on Financial help for find out what the course will cost and what you might be entitled to.

We're constantly adding to facility as we find out what sort of questions people are asking. If we don't have an answer to your question this time round, it'll be automatically added to our database so that we can deal with it in future.
